Who we are
A U.S. company where engineering and construction sit in the same room.
Vertex Infrastructure Partners LLC is a U.S.-incorporated specialist services company. Our people have designed structures and built them — that combination is the basis of everything we do. We work in English, Ukrainian, Russian, and Hebrew, supporting international financing institutions, prime contractors, and asset owners.
Engineering & technical advisory
Independent international engineering advisory and construction support.
Services are delivered by our own engineers and construction professionals — from the review of a single detail to full-scope project support. A team is assembled for each project to match its technical scope and contractual requirements.
Principles
Our independence means no conflict of interest
We warrant to the Client freedom from conflict of interest on any assignment — whether a single structural detail, a technical solution, or an entire project.
Objectivity over compromise. The Client receives a technical position, not a negotiated settlement between the parties.
An external vantage point. We identify latent time and cost savings, together with risks that are not always apparent from within the delivery team.
International scope
We consolidate international engineering practice and adapt it to the regulatory framework applicable in the project's jurisdiction.
This enables effective delivery of international and donor-funded projects operating under differing code regimes — where design, plant and equipment supply, and construction works are each governed by the standards of different countries.
Multilingual project support — from correspondence and meetings through to technical documentation.
Experience
Our findings and recommendations are founded on the site execution and design experience of our specialists across infrastructure, civil, and industrial works — more than one hundred years in aggregate.
Advisory services
01Constructability Review and Independent Technical Review
A structure can be delivered by several different methods, and the difference between them is measured in programme and cost. We appraise the design from the perspective of execution on site.
- Constructability appraisal against actual site constraints and available plant
- Buildability of details and solutions: reinforcement, tendon installation and stressing, formwork cycle
- Identification of design provisions that increase execution complexity without structural benefit
- Recommendations for simplification and acceleration of construction operations
- Root-cause investigation of deviations, defects, and non-conformances
- Design check and calculation review — on separate instruction from the Client
- Technical opinion issued for the Client's internal use
02Value Engineering
Optimisation of technical solutions against capital cost, programme, and labour intensity while preserving the design intent and performance requirements of the asset. The greatest benefit is realised at the pre-design and design stages; application during construction remains viable.
- Development of alternative structural and construction solutions
- Reappraisal of the erection methodology — the principal source of savings on bridge works
- Optimisation of tendon layouts: tendon quantity, profile, and system selection
- Substitution of materials and systems with equivalents available in the project region
- Programme reduction through construction methodology and casting cycle
- Whole-life cost assessment in place of capital cost alone
- Alternative technical proposals at tender stage and under Clause 13 value engineering provisions
- Appraisal of savings against the associated risk transfer
03Programme Review and Sequencing Optimisation
Review of the construction programme for technical integrity: identification of inconsistencies in the sequence of operations and optimisation of the works sequence to reduce duration.
- Verification of the programme against actual construction methodology
- Identification of inconsistencies and conflicts in the sequence of operations
- Determination of the optimum erection sequence for the specific structure and site
- Allowance for curing periods, strength gain, formwork cycles, and stressing and closure sequence
- Derivation of realistic casting-cycle duration and formwork turnaround
- Identification of undeclared dependencies between operations
- Opportunities for concurrent rather than sequential execution
- Determination of the critical path on methodology grounds, not calendar logic alone
- Programme recovery and resequencing in the event of delay, without compromise to quality
- Assessment of the erection methodology's impact on overall construction duration
04Bridge Erection Engineering and Methodology
Construction methods
- Balanced cantilever — cast in situ and precast segmental
- Incremental launching (ILM)
- Span-by-span casting on falsework and movable scaffolding systems (MSS)
- Form travellers
- Span-by-span erection of precast elements
- Cast in situ construction on stationary falsework
- Composite steel-concrete superstructures: steel girder erection followed by deck slab casting
Scope of review and support
- Erection sequence and stability at each construction stage
- Stage-by-stage analysis of forces and stresses
- Geometry control, precamber, and closure
- Temporary works, formwork, and supports
- Compatibility of the design methodology with site conditions and available plant
The engagement format is structured to suit the specific commission, project, or scope of works.
